The day started late. We had planned to keep it simple. We asked Mr. Dorji the owner of the GH to arrange Inner line permits for Nubra valley, Pangong tso and Tso Moriri. After handing him the required documents we went out to get our bikes serviced. Around noon bikes were ready and by that time permits were also ready.
Now it was the time for local sightseeing. First on our list was Hall of Fame but unfortunately it was closed due to Mr. M S Dhoni’s visit.

Next we visited Spituk Gompa. The view of valley from the Gompa is breathtaking.
From Spituk Gompa we took direct route along the beautiful Indus River to Shey palace. From Shey palace we returned to Leh for lunch.

After lunch we went to Leh Palace and from there to Shanti Stupa where we spent more than one hour.
We took early dinner and went to bed early, as next day was a big day.
